I recently sat on a murder trial. The People vs. Dean Jacobs. We deliberated for only 4 hours because the evidence was so overwhelming. Not a single juror disputed any of the DA's evidence. After the trial, a few of the jurors wrote to the defendant's blog that they now want reverse their decision. Will this result in jury misconduct?

They can ask for a reversal all they want. Unless there was something improper in the jury deliberation process, the verdict stands. Now they can go to the guy's new lawyer(s) and be witnesses for him, but they can't change te verdict. Only an appellate court can overturn a verdict, and there has to be some d*mn good reason for an appellate court to do so, escpecially if there are no other legal issues.
